About a year ago a good friend of mine introduced me to a Graphic Novel Series called The Walking Dead and since then ive been hooked. They release the Hardcovers which is several issues of the bi weekly comic version every six months or so and i sit chewing my nails to the bone waiting in anticipation. The reason im so attracted to this particular series is the fact that not only does it deal with a world destroyed by flesh eating zombies but they focus on peoples personal struggles and how they deal with living in these situations, most often bringing out the worst in them.
Recently i found out that they have adapted The Walking Dead into a TV series picked up by AMC and let me tell ya, i pretty much wrecked my shorts. There's a lot of amazing people working on it and from the sneak peak pics below it looks like its going to live up to expectations of the novels fans.
